Purpose

The purpose of the Quality Review technique is to ensure the quality of products produced in a project, by holding Review meetings and locating errors at any time during a stage.

Description

• A technique to check Quality.
• Pre-defined roles and resposibilities to adhere to validating standards.
• Project Assurance ensures the proper people are performing the Quality Review, i.e. not the Project Executive!
• Roles:
  • Chairperson: Runs the review meeting.
  • Producer: Creator of the product.
  • Reviewer: Assesses product against quality criteria.
  • Scribe: Takes notes during review meeting.

Usage

1. Prepare the Review meeting.
2. Hold the Review meeting.
3. Follow-up action.
