Planning (PL)

Purpose & Description

• This process is triggered throughout the project lifespan
• This process provides a planning process for projects of every size
• The process uses Product Based Planning, which focuses on what will be produced rather than how to produce it

Objectives

• Ensures that all plans cover the needs of the BUS requirements throughout the project
• Provides an iterative process as extra information throughout the project to become available

Hints and Tips

• Make sure to use enough time on planning, it will pay off later
• Look at existing Lessons Learned Reports
• Plan as appropriate, not too little, not far too much
