Managing Product Delivery (MP)

Purpose & Description

  • This process allows a controlled break between PM and the Team Manager
  • This process is triggered by CS and may/should use PL
  • The process needs to be set up as appropriate for the project, in order to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy

Objectives

  • To agree the work to be done with the PM
  • To do the work
  • To deliver the product back to the PM

Inputs

  • An agreed Work Package

Outputs

  • Updated Risk Log
  • Updated Quality Log
  • Completed Work Package

Hints and Tips

  • Create procedures to keep the PM updated on progress
  • Adjust the process to fit the project, not the other way around
