A Known Error Database or KEDB is a database containing all records of Known Errors, usually with attached Workarounds and solutions where they exist. The database is created by Problem Management, and is also a resource for Incident Management and the Service Desk. Ideally the KEDB also has an interface for the Users.

The KEDB is part of the Service Knowledge Management System.
