The concept of Anthill innovation is based on the idea that a large number of small contributors can create a product that is greater than the sum of all the contributions. When a million small ants contribute with a small pine needle each the result is a complex and marvellous work of engineering. When 9 million users contribute with a little bit of their knowledge each the result is the world's largest encyclopedia.
