Help:How to tag pages
From IT frameworks
Articles can be tagged for various purposes. It is done by adding {{articletag}} at the top of the page, and substitute articletag with the name of the appropriate tag. Below are a few examples of tags. The full list can be found in the Article tags-category.
Deletion
If you add {{delete}} at the top of an article the following line will appear:
If you add {{delete|Because I want to}} the line looks like this:
Thus it is possible to leave a short explanation at the page.
Pages marked for deletion are automatically included in the category Pages marked for deletion. Pages marked for deletion will also be listed at the Deletion-page, where members can argue for and against deletion.
Quick removal
If a page obviously don't belong on the IT-governance wiki it can be marked with {{quick removal}} at the top. The following line will appear in the article:
Pages with this tag are automatically included in the Articles proposed for quick removal. If the administrators agree the page is removed as soon as possible.
Short
If a page is much shorter than the title suggests it can be tagged with {{short}} at the top. The following line will appear in the article:
If you add {{short|A lot more could be written about this}} the line looks like this:
Thus it is possible to leave a short explanation at the page.
Pages marked as short are automatically included in the category Pages marked as short.
